Please suggest me how we can achieve this in the report.

i am trying to calculate the date difference between two dates
in my Scenario Start Date > End Date,
i am using the function as DaysBetween(startdate;enddate) , but it return the negative values in the result,
how to show from negative values to positive values in the date difference output,
i want to use the results in the input control also using the positive values
Any inputs/guidance on this issue

j have created 2 variables
Start date: =FormatDate(ToDate(UserResponse("Start Date:");"");"MM/dd/yyyy")
End date: =FormatDate(ToDate(UserResponse("End Date:");"");"MM/dd/yyyy")
output: "Date range: " + [Start date:] + " to "+ [End date:]
i am getting errror: #ERROR

I have a constant need to introduce percent with single digit after the decimal point instead of two
It's bizarre that every time I have to configure the display manually each report
And another thing...
Why the hell there is no quick icon in WEBI that you can customize the number formatting to have more or less decimal places in a number like in DESKI??
I am using Webi 4.1.
The table borders appear fine on Webi. However when I published in PDF some borders appear thicker. See screenshots below:

I am getting below ERROR
Failed to connect to the olap source ( wis 00000)
Language is Set to EN_US in bics connection.
Please let me know if we need to do changes in the langaauge or something else to resolve the issue

I know I can have this by disable the retrieve duplicate rows in query properties, but is possible to have this unchecked by default?

I have created a column chart in webi which shows a percentage on the y axis and mod centers on the x axis. I have two different percentages side by side. I create a navigation path on the business layer to drill down into part numbers. The percentage is based on the number of part numbers in a mod center. However when I try to navigate back to mod centers it changes my percentage to crazy numbers, like 65,000%. Please note that in my example the percentages cannot be higher than 100. I hope the information I provided wasn't too vague, but have any idea why this is happening?

Name is the product name, Author represent who is building it and the number is assigned to the product.
From and To fields represent the folks which are running audits.
I would like to remove the duplicate rows (filtered by name or author or number) and to have something like:
From To Name Author Number DAY
whatever whatever Chair Name01 Mary 902 X
whatever whatever Chair Name02 Suzanne 867 Y
Jeremy John Chair Name03 Criss 477 Z
Adding a break does not to the trick as i already have 1 and adding another break on the DAY and adding another one makes the report hard to read.
Checkboxing the remove duplicate from the DATA Properties does not do the trick as each row is defined as a individual and unique row.
Running =If(Previous.... doesn't work either as we have a lot of folks running audits and not following a pattern..
I'm trying to see if i could modify the SQL data and create a custom one including the SELECT UNIQUE only when selecting the Author or Number from the database, but with no help, it fails ..
I'm running out of ideas folks, any help to simplify the report and not loose the unique content would be so helpful ..

Is there a way to click on a column chart in webi and display custom set of fields as table? For example if a bar chart is showing say 20 'things'. Can I start a drill that would expand that into a table that would show attributes for that 20 things in tabular format and do this dynamically based on which bar is clicked? I am also the universe designer if that helps. Thanks

Help required. We have a webi report which is directly connecting to BW report. BW report is sending only cal.month key eg: 01.
We created bar chart which will show cal in column & qty in row. in the output. the problem is that webi report is displaying only key" 1, 2, 3, 4, etc instead Jan, feb. any idea how to display descrition? where we have to change the settings in BOBJ
Hello, Our environment is BO V 4.1 SP 4. Clustered. Repository is Oracle. We have the FRS on a file share.
We have several Publication scheduled reports.
We get the following error sometimes & when we rerun the same publication it works fine.
Could not save the document to the repository for the following reason :[repo_proxy 30]
objectexport::commit -
(Helpers:: Infostore::ObjectExport::commit) Failed to commit associated files of objects to the file.
The infrastructure team is not seeing any issues with the file share. Not sure what is causing this issue in publication alone. Any help\suggestion is appreciated.

I have java page which provides prompts, i need to paas these prompts to WEBI report, can i archive this? For eg, I have country , year and month which users selects from drop down in java page, now i need to paas this year , country and month to my webi and show the report, user will not select the prompts in webi they will select the prompts from drop down shown in java page.
